Coop Records | Coop Records Weekly - New Music from BICEP MPH and Lyrah

We've been cooking away on a new Coop Records minting protocol set to debut early next week.

We see this as a crucial step in Coop owning the full end-to-end stack between our collectibles and tokens and couldn't be more stoked to go back to the roots of limited editions, but with accessible entry prices.

The only way Coop Records scales is by reaching real music fans. We've found in user interviews that tokens and NFTs are still very intimidating to fans and artists alike - and the best way to sell onchain music is to talk about what collecting unlocks, not how much money you could make.

So that's why we're going to be doubling down on our collectible experience - really leaning into the idea of an edition unlocking a download and proving you were there early. It's not rocket science but it sets a strong foundation for us to keep refining our product and fine tuning to a point that someone who's never touched crypto before can use it.

We're seeding it with Zeds Dead's new album which dropped today - set to go live on Monday afternoon.

Combine that with new music from MPH, ATRIP and Lyrah alongside welcoming a legendary UK-based act BICEP and the Coop Recs roster continues to grow by the day.

This next chapter is really meant to showcase the potential for the Feed we recently shipped - and will be the first time that you can earn ETH as a curator on Coop Records by collecting songs.
